About
Patch notes tell you what changed in a game. They don't tell you how players took it. afterpatch is a log of exactly that: what happened to a game and how players met it, compared with what's usual for that game.
Around the clock, afterpatch collects Steam reviews, marks events — patches, seasons, expansions, launches — and shows where it's shaking, where it's calm and what came after. With player quotes and a published method: How we measure.
The log currently covers 256 games; you can ask for a missing one on the home page.
Who makes it
afterpatch is made by one person.
A language model helps with labeling and texts: it works under our rules, and the numbers in its breakdowns and digests are checked against the data. Decisions about the method, and responsibility for everything on the site, rest with the author.
Independence
afterpatch is independent: it's not affiliated with Valve, publishers or studios, and takes no money from them. If that ever changes, it will say so here.
